On Wednesday, January 9, 2019, at 18:00 at the Municipal Council Hall, the Mayor Mr. George Gionis and the Deputy Mayor of Culture and Sports Mr. Papathanassiou Athanasios began the preparations for the Carnival of Loutraki.
This year's Carnival will begin March 2, 2019 and will keep our Municipality Carnival for 10 full days until March 11, 2019, the closing ceremony.
The school parade on March 2nd, the children's parades, the chariots, the disguises with new uniforms with which the Municipality will enrich its dressing room, will enrich the carnival activities by giving a special mood to this year's Carnival.
A reference point for the carnival activities was the KEP that will be open every day from 18:00 to 20:00 for this purpose, in order to launch and organize this great celebration with the participation, presence, advice and suggestions of all Cultural & Sports Clubs and School Units of our Municipality.
This great celebration will be attended by all the shops of our Municipality in collaboration with the Xenios Zeus Association, the Association of Merchants and the Hoteliers' Association, in order to give the Carnival of our Municipality the color of the celebration of fun and entertainment.
The fun, the turnout and the participation of the world will dress with the most vivid colors this year's Carnival.

The design of the 39th Paladio Rally has already been completed with significant changes compared to the previous year, which is expected to excite the interest of those who are going to participate in the match returning to its usual date, which is typically the end of November.
The race that counts in the Asphalt Rally Championship in Greece and the South Greece Cup, the Historic Rally Championship & Cups and the uniform "Skoda SOAA" Rally Cup, again has its focus on the Port of Nea Peramos and consists of 3 repeated two times special stages , with the second leg being night.
So this year's design includes the special route "Megara-Agios Ioannis" 8.50 km long, which is the last year in the opposite direction, 15 km long Skhino that starts from Skhino and terminates before the entrance of Perachora and the 8th km of Saint Patapios which starts from Perachora and ends at the Loutraki ring road. The total mileage for the 39th Paladio Rally is 64.14 km.
For another year, the Port of Nea Peramos will host the start and end of the race, while the winners will take place at the Cultural Center of Nea Peramos on Saturday night. At the same time, the Service Park will be located at the Port. On Friday, an Administrative and Technical Audit will be held at Mr KTEO at the bridge of Aspropyrgos, while the end of the recognition will end on Saturday at 11:00.

The world's annual athletic volleyball athletics event, the LoutrakiGlobalVolleyball Cup, returned for another year, bringing veteran champions of the 9-country championship!
From 23 to 26 August 2018, Loutraki hosted 12 teams from 9 countries and more than 180 athletes and escorts.
The organizer of the Loutraki Global Volleyball Cup was the SPORTCAMP Sports Training Center, co-organized by the Municipality of Loutraki, Perachora, Aghioi Theodoroi and the support of AEDIK. and the Tourist Organization of Loutraki.
This is an event that brought together volleyball athletes who have been distinguished both collectively and nationally, having participated in leading sports clubs and national teams in their own countries, many of whom have developed long-term relationships and friendships as coaches or rivals in parquet of the big, official volleyball events in the world!
In 2018 the 12 teams from 9 countries, Norway, Turkey, Germany, Switzerland, Sweden, Russia, Israel, Lithuania and Finland competed in 3 age categories - Men 45+, Men 60+ and Women 45+.
