WRC adds Rally Greece to 2021 Calendar WRC

Greece will return to the FIA World Rally Championship for the first time in eight years after the fabled Acropolis Rally Greece was added to the 2021 calendar today.

The historic race, which from its early years, in the early 1950s, rightfully won a place on the international motorsports scene, after an eight-year absence from the World Rally Championship (WRC) returns, having even secured its presence in the institution for the two years 2021-2022.

The Greek Acropolis Rally will be on the WRC calendar for 2021 and will be the tenth race of the year!

The Acropolis Rally returns to the WRC! The decision of the FIA was announced earlier and after eight years of absence, our national race returns to the top level it deserves.

The date of the Acropolis Rally will be from 9 to 12 September and in essence, it will replace the Chilean Rally that was canceled due to a coronavirus.

The start of the race will take place under the sacred rock of the Acropolis. We do not know more details yet, however it is considered almost certain that the special routes in Loutraki and Lamia will be included in the programS.
